Job Summary:
Join our team at a respected Credit Union in Central Wisconsin as a Trainer, where you'll play a vital role in designing and delivering impactful onboarding and training programs for new and existing employees. This position partners with leadership to implement organization-wide training initiatives, monitor outcomes, and ensure goals are achieved. As a Trainer, you'll help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, enhancing employee engagement and delivering exceptional member service. The role involves frequent travel to branches across Central Wisconsin and occasional fill-in support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Training (20%): Train and coach employees to meet sales, service, and quality goals. Schedule, coordinate, and deliver training sessions.
- Training Development (20%): Design, update, and present written and online training materials, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Collaboration (20%): Work with leadership to identify solutions and create training strategies for products and services.
- Coaching (15%): Support managers by coaching employees struggling with job responsibilities, developing alternative training methods as needed.
- Evaluation (10%): Conduct surveys and assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Branch Support (5%): Provide fill-in support at branches as needed and perform miscellaneous duties.
- Compliance (5%): Ensure adherence to company policies, laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.
- Additional Duties (5%): Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years in training and development, preferably in banking/credit unions, with knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Skills: Strong facilitation skills for small and large groups, effective communication, and the ability to build trust and credibility.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use routine office equipment and perform computer-based tasks for 6–8 hours daily.
- Frequent travel to branches for training needs.
- Must handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information professionally.
